Imagine yourself seated at a charming restaurant terrace, observing the passersby on the cobblestone streets. The weather is absolutely perfect, you have a bottle of your favorite wine, and you take a deep breath to savor the moment. The faint scent of the nearby ocean fills the air, and all feels serene in the world.

I could go on for hours about my love for Italy – the people, the Mediterranean Sea, the enchanting language, and the breathtaking ancient architecture.

Naturally, you want to ensure that your attire harmonizes with the surroundings. Italians possess an effortless grace, so you wouldn’t want to overdo it. Think simple and sophisticated.

So, what did I pack for these evenings? Well, for a 10-day trip, let’s just say I didn’t exactly pack light. My poor husband had the pleasure of dragging my hefty suitcase from place to place – we traveled through three cities, braved a couple of ferries, and even embarked on a mile-long uphill trek to our B&B in Amalfi because our driver couldn’t handle the narrow street. Despite the struggle, he admirably refrained from complaining (at least while I was looking). I strongly advise opting for more versatile pieces and a significantly smaller suitcase. Your partner will thank me, and you’ll have all the more reason to treat yourself to a few elegant clothing pieces – it’s just simple logic! 🙂
