In the spirit of the 4th of July, I rounded up my favorite picks for denim shorts outfits. What says America more than some cut-off denim shorts 🇺🇸!

Denim shorts are a staple in my wardrobe for summer. What is easier than a cute pair of shorts, an easy t-shirt, and a great straw handbag?

As I started writing this today, I thought back to some of my favorite 4th of July memories. I would get so excited for fireworks as a kid. Nothing better than running around the neighborhood when it got dark with sparklers, and some really dangerous fire-starters. Kidding! Well, actually I’m not kidding. What were our parents thinking??!! Here you go kids, have some matches and here is some dynamite, now go have some fun! Before anyone gets upset, this was the 80’s, and things were much different. We rode in cars without seatbelts, left the house in the morning and came home at night- our parents had no idea where we were. We roller-skated down gigantic hills, tied ropes to very large trees to swing on, and rode our bike with someone sitting on the front handlebars. How are we still alive to even tell stories about this??!! Anyway, back to the 4th of July. Nothing is better than fireworks, a good BBQ, some pool time, and being surrounded by amazing friends and family.

Amazon is serving up some epic 4th of July deals today, and prime days are on July 16th and 17th, so brace yourselves and prepare those carts! I have my own quirky strategy – I play pretend shopping and toss everything into my cart. When it goes on sale, bam! I unleash those clicks and make it all mine. I might have a tiny shopping habit, but hey, there are definitely worse things to be hooked on!
