I don’t know about you, but as I get older, I’m getting more careful with how much I spend on clothes, shoes, and handbags (okay, maybe not handbags). We’ve got college to save for, and retirement to think about. I wish I could go back to being that carefree spender who didn’t have a worry in the world. Ahhh… those were the good old days!
So maybe my budget has changed, but my passion for shoes and clothing is still going strong. I’ve also realized that it’s all about how it makes you feel, not the price tag. I’ve got some pieces that cost a fortune and others that were a steal, and I feel fantastic in both.
As we all know, trends can come and go very quickly, and I refuse to simply follow every trend. However, I am passionate about staying current and embracing new styles (yes, it’s time to put away the skinny jeans). I only invest in pieces that I believe will withstand the test of time, regardless of whether they are considered trendy or not.
