It’s amazing to think it’s already 2025! I’m thrilled for a new year filled with exciting fashion trends ahead. Remember, everyone has their own unique style, and that’s what makes fashion so vibrant and timeless. If you love a particular look, embrace it proudly and radiate confidence! Fashion is ever evolving and its important to realize you may not be able to keep up with every trend, that’s okay! Invest in the pieces you love and will wear on repeat.

My Top Trend Picks for 2025

Loafers

Loafers will continue to rule the runway. They will possibly take the place of your trainers when thinking about your outfit. They will be worn with socks, skirts, denim, trousers, you name it. The slim sneaker remains (thankfully), but loafers will definitely reign supreme.

Sports Style

Sports style is making a powerful comeback! It’s time to rock a rugby with dressy trousers or a chic midi skirt. Pair oversized varsity jackets with a stylish blouse, or layer athleisure tops under bold oversized blazers with bike shorts. This look can be tricky as it needs to be styled correctly so you don’t look like you just left the gym. Layering will be essential to nail this trend.

Trinkets and Layered Accessories

Trinkets are taking over everything! Bag charms are set to be a bold expression of individuality and will be absolutely everywhere this season! Imagine vibrant furry key chains, playful pom poms, and dazzling beaded cords. It’s all about accessory overload—layered accents of every kind are making a stunning statement on the runway for Spring! Stickers, studs, oversized bows, sneaker charms—the mantra is simple: the more, the better!

Cherry Red and Mousse Brown

Cherry Red and Mousse Brown are vibrant colors set to electrify the start of 2025, carrying over from 2024. Whether you embrace head-to-toe monochromatic ensembles or let them pop on your lips and nails, these hues promise to be both playful and chic, breathing new life into your wardrobe. As we edge closer to Spring, the delicate charm of pale pink and the refreshing allure of pistachio (the lightest green) will emerge, infusing the air with a sense of joy and elegance.

Denim

I’m planning to write a separate article all about denim since there are tons of updates this season. But for now, let’s chat about some cool trends you’ll spot: think raw edged jeans—no fraying allowed! Straight leg denim in dark washes and gray is totally in. Cropped denim is last season. Instead, opt for an ankle length.

Animal Print

One of my favorite trends from Fall continues through Winter and Spring! Animal print! Leopard print jackets will be big to kick off the year, think puffer jackets and faux fur. Zebra, cow, and just about every animal in the kingdom will join this trend and will be seen in dresses, blouses, skirts, you name it! Faux fur is a big one to kick of the year, so don’t be afraid to pull out your biggest, fluffiest, jacket!

Boho

This season, the boho trend is done right. Expect to see an abundance of light, sheer, and feminine fabrics that exude elegance. Beading and embroidery will dominate the scene, perfectly paired with striking gold accessories. Hair accessories are essential to this style—think ribbons and luxurious gold accents that elevate the entire look.

Trenches

This trend continues into the year! One of my favorite pieces and sure to be a mainstay in your wardrobe. The trench is a key layering piece that can take any outfit from drab to high fashion runway model. Pair with a wide leg denim trouser and you have pure perfection!
